Basics of Infant and Preschool Online Curriculum

The goal of the Basics of Infant and Preschool Online Curriculum is to disseminate foundational knowledge on infant and early childhood mental health. These modules are intended to be an introduction to the field of infant and early childhood mental health. The target audience for this curriculum is clinicians and trainees in psychiatric fields; however, the information is relevant to other specialties such as clinicians in pediatrics and psychology. These modules can be used for self-study as well as for teaching. It is estimated to take approximately five hours to complete all four modules.

The curriculum consists of four modules: attachment, development, assessment and diagnosis, and treatment. This curriculum is intended to emphasize a developmentally informed, multidisciplinary, and culturally sensitive approach.
