Clinical Practice (clinical@aacap.org)
AACAP’s Clinical Practice department is principally responsible for producing resource materials and assisting members with issues related to their clinical practice, such as practice parameters, coordination of care/services, collaborating with other professionals, and medical coding questions. Through its work with multiple committees, the department helps to develop AACAP policy on a wide range of issues, including mental health care, inpatient and residential care, and telemedicine. A major emphasis is placed on the creation and development of useful products, resources, and the detailed writing of proposed practice parameter and clinical practice guidelines.
