AACAP Honors Tashalee R. Brown, MD, PhD, with DEI Fellowship
Washington, DC, February 22, 2022 – The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is pleased to announce Tashalee R. Brown, MD, PhD, as the AACAP Council fellowship recipient of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry’s (AACAP’s) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Emerging Leaders Fellowship.
AACAP’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Emerging Leaders Fellowship was created to support AACAP’s efforts to strengthen diversity leadership and workforce development in AACAP priority areas specific to the AACAP Council. The AACAP Council DEI Fellow will have the opportunity to engage with a host of related AACAP Committees to assess and monitor AACAP’s Workplan to Promote Health Equity and combat Racism in the Era of COVID-19.
