Grants and Awards
AACAP's mission is to promote the healthy development of children, adolescents, and families through advocacy, education, and research, and to meet the professional needs of child and adolescent psychiatrists throughout their careers.
AACAP upholds this mission through a robust awards program, which offers over 150 awards on an annual basis to child and adolescent psychiatrists in varying stages of their careers.

CAPSGW Travel Grants
The CAPSGW Education and Travel Grant provides support for a trainee in the DC metropolitan area (medical student, resident or fellow) to attend the AACAP Annual Meeting.
Applicants are asked to submit a one-page statement of interest, their CV and a letter of recommendation. If selected, awardees will be asked to submit a 1-page summary of their AACAP Annual Meeting experience which will be published below.
