Regional Organizations

Regional child and adolescent psychiatry organizations serve as grass roots level support of AACAP initiatives. They are responsible for support of local members and advocacy at the state level.

As of January 1, 1990, all new members must join both the AACAP and their regional organization of child and adolescent psychiatry closest to their locality of practice. The AACAP application is considered a dual application which allows applicants to apply simultaneously to both organizations.

Dual membership in a regional organization is required per the Bylaws and any associated dues will be added to your membership balance. A list of regional organizations and their membership fees can be found on the membership application.

View the AACAP Regional Organization map to identify the local child and adolescent psychiatry organization nearest your practice.
