Sara Vanbronkhorst, MD Receives AACAP’s Junior Investigator Award, supported by AACAP and Industry Supporters

Washington, DC, October 23, 2022 –The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is pleased to announce Sara Vanbronkhorst, MD, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, as the recipient of AACAP's 2022 AACAP’s Junior Investigator Award, supported by AACAP and Industry Supporters.

AACAP’s Junior Investigator Award, supported by AACAP and Industry Supporters, provides up to $30,000 a year for two years for child and adolescent psychiatry junior faculty intended to facilitate innovative research that is relevant to our understanding, treatment, and prevention of child and adolescent mental health disorders. This award reduces the shortage in clinical researchers by supporting young investigators engaging in mental health research programs.

Dr. Vanbronkhorst will be recognized at the Junior Research Scholar Lunch during AACAP's 71st Annual Meeting in Seattle Washington, October 14-19, 2024.
