Joint Statement Regarding CALOCUS-CASII Collaboration
Washington, DC - The American Association for Community Psychiatry (AACP) and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) are no longer in partnership to provide the CALOCUS-CASII. Now, customers have the option of licensing the CALOCUS from AACP or licensing the CASII from AACAP. The CALOCUS and CASII are very similar clinically, and both effectively provide a multidimensional service intensity assessment for the child and adolescent population aged 6-18. With this new arrangement, customers can choose the software platform for the tools that best meet their needs. Where a regulatory, contractual, payer, or governmental requirement specifies use of the CALOCUS-CASII, AACP's CALOCUS and AACAP's CASII are both authorized to meet their requirements.
Customers can continue to access the LOCUS for adults through the American Association for Community Psychiatry and the ECSII for the early child population aged 0-5 through the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
