Washington, D.C., March 6, 2012 - The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) recently released its film CAP-tivated: A Short Story about Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as a resource for teaching medical students and general psychiatry residents about child and adolescent psychiatry.
As the most under-served of psychiatric specialties and with ten percent of America's youth suffering from severe psychiatric disorders, the need for child and adolescent psychiatrists is greater than ever before. This 10 minute film produced by the AACAP with support from the Campaign for America's Kids documents a "day in the life" of four young and engaging child and adolescent psychiatrists.
