This online refresher course is designed for individuals who HAVE PREVIOUSLY undergone AACAP approved training on the proper use of the ECSII and seek a review of main topics as well additional practice using the tool.
This refresher course IS NOT a substitute for initial training in the ECSII.
Developed by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), the Early Childhood Service Intensity Instrument (ECSII) is a tool used to determine the appropriate level of service intensity for children and adolescents 0-5 years.
This course serves to provide a brief summary of important topics relating to the proper use of the ECSII as well as provide additional practice by scoring a mock case vignette.
The Early Childhood Service Intensity Instrument (ECSII) is copyrighted by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP). Purchasers of these materials are NOT authorized to:
- (i) copy, modify, reproduce, re-publish, sub-license, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit or distribute any ECSII materials without prior written permission;
- (ii) use ECSII materials in the provision of any other course or training whether given by AACAP or any third-party trainer without prior written permission;
