Jennifer Dwyer, MD, PhD, Receives AACAP Junior Investigator Award, Supported by AACAP and Industry Supporters

Washington, DC, November 13, 2020 –The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is pleased to announce Jennifer Dwyer, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Yale Child Study Center and Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale, as the recipient of AACAP's 2020 Junior Investigator Award, supported by AACAP and Industry Supporters. 

AACAP’s Junior Investigator Award, supported by AACAP and Industry Supporters, provides up to $30,000 a year for two years for child and adolescent psychiatry junior faculty. It is intended to facilitate innovative research that is relevant to our understanding, treatment, and prevention of child and adolescent mental health disorders. This award helps reduce the current shortage of clinical researchers by getting young investigators engaged in mental health research programs. 

Dr. Dwyer will be recognized at the Junior Research Scholar Lunch during AACAP's 69th Annual Meeting in Toronto, Canada, October 17-22, 2022.
