Alecia Vogel, MD, PhD, Receives AACAP Pilot Research Award for Attention Disorders, Supported by AACAP’s Elaine Schlosser Lewis Fund

Washington, DC, September 30, 2019 –The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is pleased to announce Alecia Vogel, MD, PhD, as the recipient of AACAP's 2019 Pilot Research Award for Attention Disorders, supported by AACAP’s Elaine Schlosser Lewis Fund.

AACAP’s Pilot Research Award for Attention Disorders, supported by AACAP’s Elaine Schlosser Lewis Fund, provides up to $15,000 of funding for junior faculty and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows who have an interest in beginning a career in child and adolescent mental health research. This award helps reduce the current shortage of clinical researchers by getting young investigators engaged in mental health research programs.

Dr. Vogel will be recognized at the Junior Research Scholar Lunch during AACAP's 66th Annual Meeting on October 17, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois.
