Impulsive Aggression Across Diagnoses

Co-Chairs: Jeffrey R. Strawn, MD, and Jean A. Frazier, MD

AACAP’s 2023 Pediatric Psychopharmacology Update Institute addresses how clinicians can conceptualize and manage aggression and other symptoms in various child and adolescent psychiatric disorders. The presentations focus on a shift from treating disorders to understanding and treating symptoms, including aggression, across disorders. The Institute also highlights recent updates and developments in the child and adolescent psychopharmacology literature. Finally, attendees are able to participate in small-group case discussions about how the evidence-based information can be tailored and applied to individual patients with complex presentations.
