Education Center

A fundamental aspect of AACAP’s mission is to provide its members and allied health professionals with most up-to-date educational resources. Within this center you will find links to articles, presentations, and webinars from AACAP’s many educational resources including our Annual Meeting, the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Continuing Medical Education Programs, and Life Long Learning Modules.

In addition, we have attempted to pull together the best of those educational resources from organizations around the world that work to improve the mental health of children, adolescents, and their families.

Disorder Specific Resources Disorder Specific Resources
This bibliography of free, high quality online resources was compiled under the leadership of the AACAP Training & Education Committee in collaboration with the AACAP Alliance for Learning and Innovation (AALI), a virtual teaching community of AACAP members. The content areas are organized using the American Psychiatric Association’s DSM-5 content outline and all materials are free. They are organized into high-technology resources (requiring greater computing resources such as streaming video, etc.) and low-technology resources (PDF’s, PowerPoint presentations, etc.).

It should be emphasized that this bibliography is a work in progress and the committee welcomes reviewer feedback. After posting this initial set of resources online, the training and education committee will organize a second group of resources after the annual meeting in October 2013. More...
