What will a Virtual Annual Meeting look like?

AACAP’s Virtual Annual Meeting offers two weeks of programming, presented in a variety of formats to meet your scheduling needs. The first week will include hundreds of hours of recorded, didactic presentations. The second week will offer hundreds of live, virtual discussion sessions and workshops, networking events, e-posters, and a virtual exhibit hall.

When is the Virtual Annual Meeting? What times should I block off on my calendar?

The Virtual Annual Meeting is being held over two weeks, October 18 - October 30. 

  • LIVE SESSIONS - The core meeting hours for live sessions are Monday, October 25 through Saturday, October 30, from 11:00 am (EASTERN) to 6:00 pm (EASTERN). There will be some events held in the evenings.

  • ON-DEMAND - On-Demand (pre-recorded) sessions, including didactic portions of Clinical Perspectives, Symposia, and Institutes (with ticket) will be available for you starting Monday, October 18. These are not scheduled and can be watched at your own convenience. Be sure to check the live schedule, however, as each On-Demand session will have a live Q&A session where you can connect with the presenters.

Will the Virtual Annual Meeting offer CME credit?

Yes. While the final number of credits is still being determined, we will offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

How much will the Virtual Annual Meeting cost, and when can I register?

Registration rates will be published in mid-June on the website, and registration will open early August.

When will you have more details about the Virtual Annual Meeting?

We expect to share the program schedule in mid-June and will open registration in early August. In the coming months, updated information will be available on our website at www.aacap.org/AnnualMeeting-2021.

What technology will I need?

AACAP will host all live sessions on the Zoom platform. To participate in the Virtual Annual Meeting, all you need will be a reliable, high speed internet connection, your web browser, and free Zoom software. More instructions will be available upon registration.

How can I exhibit at the Virtual Annual Meeting to promote my products or services?

AACAP is very excited to offer a Virtual Exhibit Hall during the Annual Meeting. Attendees will be able to view and connect with exhibitors during the meeting, learning about new products, services, and job opportunities. More details about these opportunities, including pricing, will be available in mid-June.
