Registration for the Annual Meeting allows you to take the Annual Meeting Self-Assessment Exam for free.

This self-assessment (SA) exam will offer participants 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and has been ABPN-approved to meet both the CME and SA requirements of maintenance of certification. The exam consists of a 100-question online examination designed to help practicing child and adolescent psychiatrists assess their level of knowledge regarding current psychiatric practice and clinical advances in the field. Use feedback received regarding areas of strength and weakness in medical knowledge to guide your selection of programs at this year’s Annual Meeting. This exam will be available until October 31, 2014. Details regarding how to access this exam will be provided with your registration confirmation.

Continuing Medical Education
The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The AACAP designates the completion of the activity for 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. These credits will count towards the ABPN’s CME and self-assessment requirements for maintenance of certification.

The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has reviewed the 2014 AACAP Annual Meeting Self-Assessment Exam and has approved this product as part of a comprehensive CME and self-assessment program, which is mandated by the ABMS as a necessary component of maintenance of certification.

Policy on Privacy and Confidentiality
The results of the self-assessment exam are private and confidential. They are intended only for the use of the individual to which they are addressed. Only aggregate scores are used by AACAP in evaluating the results of the self-assessment exam.
