AACAP’s Lecture Series on Improving Health Equity During the COVID-19 Era, sponsored by the Diversity & Culture Committee, explores complex social issues that have been further impacted by the pandemic. This four-part lecture series provides a deeper look into the challenges facing schools, systems of care, and child and adolescent psychiatry training programs and offers suggestions on how to better utilize these important systems and institutions to promote health equity. The lecture series also offers historical context and protective factors religion utilizes to counter racism.
