Scholarships for Medical Students and Residents
The AACAP offers two types of scholarships; one for the Annual Meeting and the other for the January Psychopharmacology Update Institute, Lifelong Learning Institute, and Annual Review Course.
Scholarships to attend the Annual Meeting, October 28-November 2 in Chicago, are available to Medical Students and Residents through the monitor program. Any medical student or resident can volunteer to work one full day or two half days during the Annual Meeting and in return will receive a complimentary registration to attend the meeting and half-priced tickets for most ticketed events. For more information about the monitor program, email meetings@aacap.org.
AACAP also offers complimentary registrations for its smaller meetings, the January Psychopharmacology Update Institute, Lifelong Learning Institute, and Annual Review Course, to up to three Medical Students and three Residents. The scholarships do not include travel or hotel expenses and scholarship winners must be AACAP members. If you are interested in receiving a scholarship for any of these events, please send an email to meetings@aacap.org explaining why you want to attend, your full contact information, and proof of student/resident status.
