The AACAP 53rd Annual Meeting with special participation of the Asociación Mexicana de Psiquiatría Infantil (AMPI), A.C. from October 24-29, 2006 at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina, is the world's largest event for child and adolescent psychiatrists. Every year, over 3,500 mental health professionals attend the AACAP Annual Meeting, and this past year alone, over 1,000 foreign professionals representing 53 countries were in attendance. Industry, governmental agencies, foundations and other public or private entities have a long tradition of participation and collaboration with AACAP's Annual Meeting.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Opportunities

Every year, over 3,200 mental health professionals attend the AACAP Annual Meeting, and this past year alone, over 1,000 foreign professionals representing 53 countries were in attendance. The meeting features hands-on workshops, symposia, poster sessions, didactic lectures, special interest group meetings, committee meetings. Industry, governmental agencies, foundations and other public or private entities have a long tradition of participation and collaboration with AACAP's Annual Meeting.

AACAP is responsible for the content and format of all Annual Meeting activities. Submissions to the Annual Meeting are accepted through the Call for Papers process.
