53rd Annual Meeting Program Schedule
Clinical Consultation Breakfasts

Coordinated by Douglas Novins, M.D.

You had your breakfast in bed before, but you won’t have it there anymore.
—Irving Berlin

It is a good morning exercise for a research scientist to discard a pet hypothesis every day before breakfast. It keeps him young.
—Konrad Lorenz

Breakfast in bed? Not when we’ve assembled a panel of expert clinicians for our Clinical Consultation Breakfasts! These experts are all leaders within their respective areas and are prepared to discuss your most pressing clinical issues. Come and benefit from unique conceptual perspectives on key topics in child and adolescent psychiatric practice. Gather suggestions for further reading and study. Perhaps you’ll discard a pet hypothesis or two, but you’ll certainly come away with many more ideas to ponder. The Consultation Breakfast sessions are limited to 15 attendees. Tickets sell out quickly. A continental buffet breakfast is included in the registration fee of $55.

Master Clinician Series:
While many researchers are common names in child psychiatry because of their prominence in scientific meetings and journal publications, there is a group of actively practicing clinicians who have their own scientific expertise and are recognized for their ability to bring science into the therapeutic environment. These are our “Master Clinicians.” Please bring them your most difficult and interesting cases for discussion, or come to listen to great minds thinking out loud.
