Monitor for the AACAP/CACAP Joint Annual Meeting and receive free admission!
Residents, students, and trainees can attend the AACAP/CACAP Joint Annual Meeting for FREE!
Medical students, residents, and trainees can monitor for one full day to receive free registration for the AACAP/CACAP Joint Annual Meeting in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, October 18-23, 2011. Monitors will assist AACAP staff in running the meeting by checking badges and tickets to confirm attendance, assisting speakers as needed, and distributing and collecting evaluation forms and/or other materials that the speaker provides. In return for working as a monitor for either one full day or two half days, they will receive a complimentary registration for the meeting in addition to half-priced tickets for most ticketed events.
Policy on dues for medical students
We encourage all medical students interested in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join both AACAP and ICCAP for free! The process is quick and painless and requires a confirmation of your progress in medical school. For more information see http://www.aacap.org/cs/root/member_information/membership_information. ICCAP is proud to also sponsor membership for all child and adolescent psychiatry fellows in an Illinois training program. Simply pay your yearly dues and send the receipt along with a letter from your training director and your personal mailing address to ICCAP.Thompson@gmail.com.
General Psychiatry Residents may apply in January to have dues reimbursed by ICCAP by applying for the Helen Beiser, MD Award.
