The Georgia Council on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (GCCAP) is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in 1972 in the State of Georgia. The purpose of the organization is to provide a vehicle for child and adolescent psychiatrists in the State of Georgia to collaborate, provide educational and mentorship opportunities for its members and to advocate for issues affecting children's mental health. The council serves these same functions on a national level through our affiliation with the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. GCCAP has over 160 members throughout the State of Georgia.
