Annual Meeting Special Events

International Reception  EVENT SPONSORED!!!
$100,000 This is a reception held on Tuesday to welcome our international attendees to the meeting. Each year, more than 800 professionals travel from Asia, Europe, South America, Australia, Africa, and India to attend our world-renowned meeting! This year, because the Annual Meeting is in Hawai’i, AACAP is making an added effort to attract attendees from the Pacific Rim. The following organizations are collaborating on AACAP’s Annual Meeting: Asian Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions; Bangladesh Association for Child & Adolescent Mental Health; Indian Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health; Malaysian Psychiatric Association; and The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

Luau Reception
$125,000 Estimated Number of Invited Participants: 4,000 This is a well-attended and festive reception held on Friday for all Annual Meeting attendees. This event provides our attendees with the opportunity to greet old friends and make new ones while enjoying delicious culinary treats and listening to Pink Freud, an outstanding band comprised of child and adolescent psychiatrists.

Exhibit Hall Reception
$30,000 (sponsorship premium only) Want to invite meeting attendees to a special reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres? Consider hosting a reception in the AACAP Lounge, located in the Exhibit Hall, on Thursday, October 29 for two hours while the Exhibit Hall is open. Our meeting specialists will help you select menus, decorations, etc. Includes a listing as an Exhibit Hall Reception Sponsor on a sign displayed at the entrance of the reception, and a flyer placed in our registration bags. Sponsorship acknowledgment on the AACAP Web site, www.aacap.org, which receives more than 18 million page views a year by consumers and medical professionals. Exhibit Hall Coffee/Juice Breaks
$25,000 each (Three two-hour slots available) Increase your visibility by sponsoring a coffee/juice break in the AACAP Exhibit Hall. Sponsor one or all three of the morning coffee breaks.

Annual Meeting Program Book
$25,000 The Program Book is a schedule of all events and activities at the Annual Meeting. A copy is included in each registration tote-bag. This is a great opportunity to build awareness of your sponsorship to our attendees and demonstrate your commitment to the field of child and adolescent psychiatry!

Honors Book
$10,000 This publication acknowledges all 2009 AACAP award recipients. A copy is included in each registration tote-bag.

Special Sponsorship Opportunities

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Resident Educational Outreach Program
$98,000 This program allows the AACAP to offer awards to child and adolescent psychiatry residents wishing to attend our Annual Meeting, but do not have the financial resources to do so. More than 60 awards of $1,500 are granted each year to defray the cost of attending the meeting.

Resident Resource Room
$20,000 This locale provides a common space for medical students and residents to interact, learn about upcoming opportunities, and access the Internet. It is open for the duration of the Annual Meeting.

A/V and LCD Equipment
$50,000 Sponsor will receive prominent listing as supporter of A/V and LCD equipment throughout the 2009 Annual Meeting.

Speaker Ready Room
$5,000 This area provides a quiet space for speakers to prepare for their Annual Meeting presentations. It is open for the duration of the Annual Meeting.
