This presentation reviews the epidemiology, phenomenology, proposed types and classifications, special population issues, and comorbid mental and substance disorders of sexually abusive youth. Recent legislative trends, registration, and community notification laws are reviewed. Audience participation develops an improved understanding of the biopsychosocial context and clinical presentation of juveniles who are sexually abusive of others.
