Workshop Y: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Adolescent Depression: A Modular Approach

Friday, October 26
1:00 – 4:00 p.m. (ticket)
John F. Curry, Ph.D., Karen C. Wells, Ph.D.

The objective of this Workshop is to provide participants with a practical introduction to cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for depressed adolescents, including training in the manualized version of CBT used in the Treatment for Adolescents with Depression Study (TADS). By the end of this Workshop participants understand the theoretical model of CBT and the key components of CBT for adolescent depression. Participants increase their ability to structure CBT sessions, conduct skills training, and how to integrate CBT with medication management.
