The Connors Rating Scales have gained widespread use for the assessment of ADHD and related disorders. The first component of the Workshop provides an overview of the Connors Assessment System, and discusses the logistics of how the various forms and versions of the system work. The second segment provides attendees with the relevant research results for this new tool, including information about test reliability and validity, as well as test sensitivity, and specificity in discriminating non-clinical cases from cases with carious diagnostic disorders. The last component provides an understanding of how to use the scales in the identification of childhood disorders.
