This SIG continues a discussion started at the 2006 Annual Meeting summarizing current approaches to pharmacological treatment of autism. Given the significant pace with which pharmacological treatments advance, and the need to keep up with fringe treatments so often proposed by parents, this group provides an essential service for practitioners involved in the treatment of children with autism.
