CCB #1: Master Clinician Jean A. Frazier, M.D.

Dr. Frazier is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance, Harvard Medical School, Director of Child Psychopharmacology, and is Co-Director of the Center for Child and Adolescent Development (CCAD). The CCAD is a multidisciplinary clinic, which evaluates and treats youth with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. In addition, she is the Director of the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Research Program, which evaluates and treats youth with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and pervasive developmental disorders, and youth at risk for developing these conditions. Other protocols in her program include investigations into phenomenology, neuroimaging, neurocognition, genetics and treatment interventions. She has received many honors for her work, and sits on a number of national committees and editorial boards. She has numerous publications and continues her clinical and research work at the Cambridge Health Alliance. In this session Dr. Frazier leads a discussion of the psychopharmacologic management of complex patients.
