Washington, D.C., September 29, 2011 - The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is pleased to announce Ole J. Thienhaus, M.D., of the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine, as the recipient of AACAP's 2011 Robert Cancro Academic Leadership Award.
The Robert Cancro Academic Leadership Award recognizes a currently serving General Psychiatry Training Director, Medical School Dean, CEO of a Training Institution, Chair of a Department of Pediatrics, or Chair of a Department of Psychiatry for his or her contributions to the promotion of child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr. Thienhaus will present, "A Geriatric Psychiatrist Discovers Child Psychiatry," at AACAP's 58th Annual Meeting, October 21, 2011 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
