Washington, D.C., October 11, 2010 - The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is pleased to announce Adrienne Bentman, M.D., Director, Adult Psychiatry Residency Program; Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital, as the recipient of AACAP's 2010 Robert Cancro Academic Leadership Award.

The Robert Cancro Academic Leadership Award recognizes a currently serving General Psychiatry Training Director, Medical School Dean, CEO of a Training Institution, Chair of a Department of Pediatrics, or Chair of a Department of Psychiatry for his or her contributions to the promotion of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Bentman presents, "The Little Engine That Could; Re-Establishing the Institute of Living's Residencies," at AACAP's 57th Annual Meeting, October 29, 2010 in New York, NY.
